Attendees will explore Godzilla's massive impact on the world of entertainment and his unique role in bridging the cinematic traditions of Japan and the United States.
The program will feature Dr. Laura Lee, faculty member in the College of Motion Picture Arts at Florida State University. Dr. Lee teaches film and animation history, contemporary cinema, documentary film and film aesthetics, with additional expertise in Japanese cinema, popular culture and visual culture.
