Prime 1 Studio announces a new statue: Legacy Art "Noriyoshi Ohrai" Heisei Godzilla Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. Pre-orders August 21, 2026 (JST).

ASAKUSA, TAITO-KU, TOKYO, JAPAN, August 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Prime 1 Studio is pleased to introduce a new addition to the "Legacy Art" series: Noriyoshi Ohrai's "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah."

Released in 1991 as the second installment of the Heisei Godzilla series, "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah" featured poster artwork by illustrator Noriyoshi Ohrai. Standing over 80 cm tall, this statue recreates the poster in three dimensions, interpreting Ohrai's distinctive composition and use of color while extending the artwork to elements not visible in the original illustration, such as the reverse side of King Ghidorah's wings.

The statue carries over the original illustration's distinctive composition, which uses differences in scale and perspective to create a greater sense of impact. Godzilla's dark blue-gray and King Ghidorah's brilliant gold are carefully balanced to create a strong contrast between the two. LED illumination is incorporated into Godzilla's dorsal fins, King Ghidorah's Gravity Beams, and the missile exhaust effects.

Alternate heads for both Godzilla and King Ghidorah are also included, inspired by their appearances in the live-action film.

The Bonus Version includes a Title Logo Stand, which can be displayed alongside the statue to complement the presentation of the original theatrical poster.
